The Kyron D. Coleman Memorial Foundation was created in February 2019, commemorating the 5 year anniversary of our son's death. Kyron was a wonderful child who was blind and suffered from cerebral palsy. Born at 23 weeks gestation and only 1 lb 5 oz, Kyron defied all odds stacked against him. God saw fit to bless him with 17 years of life. During those 17 years, Kyron's joy, love, and laughter impacted many lives as was evident at his funeral. Many teenagers from his high school came to say one last goodbye and sing one more fight song. We pray that Kyron's love, light, joy, and laughter will live through each person that comes in contact with our foundation.
The mission of the Kyron D. Coleman Memorial Foundation is to help high school students who devote their time and talents through volunteering with the Practical Application of Life Skills (PALS) program by providing scholarships to further their education at a post secondary institution.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals of providing deserving students each a $500 scholarship towards furthering their education at a post secondary institution.
